Mrs. VanMatre's 4th Grade class worked hard for the first 7 weeks of school to develop and write Personal Narrative stories. They went through the entire writing process and worked very hard as a class. After learning what a personal narrative was, reading daily mentor texts, adding in additional parts to make the stories better, continuously editing and revising, and typing their final drafts, it was time to celebrate their hard work! The class celebrated with donuts and sharing their stories with one another by rotating from partner to partner. The class also wrote each other compliments about the stories, on what else, but a donut shaped compliment card!
