Third graders in Mrs. Wise's classroom had fun learning about the superbowl Friday, February 10th afternoon in class! Students worked in groups to figure out roman numerals, ways to create football scores with the rules and use multiplication to create a football puzzle. They also discovered where teams were located in the United States and read about some history about the big event coming up. The highlight of the afternoon was when they got to follow directions and create their own paper footballs to "kick" through a field goal! It was an excellent, hands on learning day in room 24!
