Students in Mrs. Swick's Reading Group learned about identifying the main idea and support details of different stories recently. To help reinforce this concept, students worked together to identify details about many different fall activities (Halloween, Carving Pumpkins, and Hayrides to name a few). Students also read a story about spiders. They were then given the task to identify the main idea and supporting details and make a spider displaying their work. Students had fun doing these activities while also learning!
