Student backpacks have been a little heavier over the last few weeks. Why, you ask? Because the students and staff have been bringing in cans and boxes of food for Food Finders Food Bank. Together the school collected 3,400 perishable items. The entire school brought in food, but a special thanks goes to the 4th and 5th grade Student Council members who collected, counted, bagged, and boxed the donations during the food drive. WOW, what a success! 4th and 5th grade Student Council members worked very hard during their noon recesses for the week to count, collect, box, and bag all of the donations. Way to go Pioneers!
