The Mintonye Elementary 5th grade classes took their annual field trip to Camp Tecumseh. Students participated in four stations including canoeing, archery, the nature center (which involves students getting to learn about, hold, and pet several animals including a gecko named Danny, a snake named Milkshake, red eared slider turtles named Smokey and Big Mama, a bearded dragon, and a Guinee pig) and searching for macroinvertebrates in the "Ghost Creek". The classes had a wonderful day, and the rain held out for most of the day! "Overall, the trip was amazing! We did a lot of fun things and it was super educational. I had a lot of fun"  says  Seamus.
