Students in Ms. Schurman's kindergarten class worked on a new hideout for Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker in honor of May the 4th. Using the STEM ideology that they have worked on all year, students were able to choose items from the classroom to build a hideout. They needed 2 doors and a hiding spot inside the structure. Once complete we evaluated things that worked (glows) and things to work on (grows). It was a fun activity for al students, Star Wars fan or not!
