Students in Mrs. Swick's math groups have been learning about perimeter and area for the past few weeks. Students enjoyed finding the perimeter and area of their names. They were also able to show their creativity to create robots. After they created the robots, the had to find the area of each part and then add them to find the total area of their robot. The students enjoyed these hands-on activities and applying the skills they have learned in math.
