Each year, the kindergarten classes at Mintonye get together and celebrate Thanksgiving with a kindergarten feast.  This year was no different as the kindergarten classes joined together to celebrate on Tuesday, November 26, 2019.  The children dressed as Pilgrims and Native Americans to recreate the first Thanksgiving. “We made neat hats.  They tickled my head.” Lulu a kindergartener in Mrs. Schurman’s class said.  In the days leading up to the big day, each class learned about the Pilgrims, Native Americans, and what life was like for the very first Thanksgiving. The kindergarten classes also shared some Thanksgiving songs with each other. “I love learning new songs!  I like to sing.” said Bennett from Mrs. Schurmans’s class.  It was a fun day for all!
