Celebrating 100 Days in First Grade at Mintonye Elementary
Kristy Delp

Celebrating the 100th day of school with Mrs. Miller's first graders was an exciting and engaging experience filled with a variety of fun and educational activities. They started the day by practicing their counting skills, exploring different ways to count to 100. Then, the students enjoyed listening to a comical book about the 100th day of school, titled Hundredth Day Disaster. The students then participated in a Jack Hartman video entitled 100 Days of School with Grandma and Grandpa. To encourage creativity and critical thinking, they participated in a writing assignment where they imagined how they would spend 100 dollars, coming up with thoughtful and imaginative ideas. Throughout the day, the students were enthusiastic and proud of how much they had learned and grown over the past 100 days. It was a wonderful celebration that reinforced important skills while making lasting memories.
