3rd Grade Multiplication Madness at Mintonye Elementary
Kristy Delp

Multiplication is a major focus in 3rd grade, and Mintonye students spend the entire year building their skills, accuracy, and confidence. To make practice even more exciting, teachers paired it with the fun of March Madness!

Each student participated in a bracket-style competition, racing to complete timed multiplication tests faster and more accurately than their opponent. The energy was high, and the competition was fierce!

The students showed incredible determination and growth in every round, with many matches decided by just a few seconds. Teachers are very proud of their hard work, perseverance, and positive attitudes throughout the tournament.

Congratulations to Andrew S. from Mrs. Clevenger’s class and Cohen H. from Mrs. Wise’s class for advancing to the final round. In an impressive finish, Andrew secured the championship with an outstanding time of just 54 seconds!
